I even slowed the speed down to try to get into this story but the voice is too child like and not much devecrsity through the characters. The mom sounds like she 10 not 70. Maybe this would be a better read. I enjoy easy plot detective stories to unwind.

Quite a new unique storyline compared to what I was expecting! Kitchen witches, shape shifters and ghosts all while baking delicious foods and catering special events and solving crimes which made my night time cozy mystery listening so much more interesting! Looking forward to the next book!

Book one had much more promise than this.Even if it’s short, it should have a well thought out ending (along with the other too brief instances). Not sure about moving on to book 3. I think I will research thoroughly, and read a ton of reviews before a possible purchase. These 2-3 hour novella type..
I love these series and not just because I have a corgi. These series reminds me of a good cute hallmark movie.

These are fun and entertaining stories. I love the narrator and especially like the southern accent. The main character is kind of quirky and isn’t always the brightest but still likable. A few giggle out loud moments which for me is very unusual. I would like to see the entire series available.

Really not a fan of this story, despite enjoying the books preceding it in this series. I also felt as if Aunt Peg had been kidnapped. She no longer sounds like an upscale grad of a very posh school in the northeast. Where are you Jessica?? The only parts of the new narrator I appreciate..

This is a wonderfully charming story; holding equal parts coming-of-age and horror. Once started I could not stop listening as the story and narrator kept me going.
