Nice story but the high pitch annoying southern twang of the female narrator was very off putting.

I usually guess the culprit, but not this time, I was guessing up to the reveal.

I can’t stop listening to this series. The characters are well written and the story flows nicely. Love mysteries!

I hung on for 12 chapters but could not finish. The main character was incredibly unlikable – self-centered, childish, rude, and foolish. I’m not sure if it was the story itself or the narrative but this book won’t make my top 25 mystery series and I won’t be listening to any more books from this series. I had a hard time getting past the narrator’s little girl sounding voice for a 38 year old woman.

Corgi, mystery and a bookshop. Loved it and will listen to more in series, already downloaded next book.

a perfect read for an afternoon or car ride. modern fairy tales done right.
