At times the reading almost seemed computer generated which made it difficult to evaluate how good the story was

I really enjoyed this book, and I intend to continue with the series. The audio version is very good. The narrator did a good job bringing the characters to life. I look forward to hearing the next book in the series

I love a mystery and this kept me wondering who did it all the way through! looking forward to her other books

Love the characters. the storyline kept me guessing. I can usually figure out the culprit but this one fooled me.

Another Sax/Hickman success. Very entertaining and lots of twists and turns. Storytelling and performance are both excellent.

I quite liked the first book in the series despite a few flaws so I decided to try the second but things have definitely taken a turn for the worse. No amount of good narration could compensate for how stupid the heroine has become in this book, nor the many caricature characters and obvious plotting..

well that and the good humour throughout. But the writing is so awkward it’s jarring at times. Still, maybe the author will improve in subsequent books. I’ll continue with this series for now
