I know it must be difficult for the audible reader to get the voices right. But Bertie sounded like an old woman and Peg- who is so irritating- alway- sounds like a snob with a British accent.Less of Peg and her attitude would be nice:)

K Street Killing is an entertaining mystery with engaging characters and an interesting plot. I look forward to the next book.

I couldn’t get through this. The narrator is awful. After such vibrant, dynamic voices from the first 18 books, this narrator is SO disappointing. I wanted to listen because I love the series. But this narrator grates on my nerves. Monotone, robotic, unrealistic—all apply here. I’m incredibly sad I can’t finish the series.

Couldn’t stop laughing at Aunt Sookie. My feelings were all over the place with the story line. This was recommended by my older sister and I loved all the characters as much as she did. Big thumbs up!

I adore this series. This is, however, the 1st book read by Angie Hickman. Who hired her? Did she not audition? Very wooden performance and her Aunt Peg consistently sounded like an 80s robot. Simply atrocious to listen to. She didn’t even pronounce the author’s first name correctly. Ms. Berenson’s work deserves so much better!

I really liked this book kept me listening each night. Somthing to look forward to!

Calamity at the Continental Club is well written with engaging characters and an interesting plot. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Dark and rambling, too much unnecessary stretching of story, needs an editor. Not a good fit for Christmas.
