As a Louisiana native, I was excited to find this series. The first book was fine, but this one was difficult to get through because of the narration. Couldn’t stand Aunt Pegs voice. The story wasn’t the best Berenson has done either. But maybe that was just because I didn’t like the reading. And I’ve never been bothered by a reader before

I too enjoy the series; however, I am. Or a fan of the new narrator and won’t continue with the series. I would rather spend my money on narrators that can bring a story to life rather than sound the same from character to character.
