I loved the characters and all their idiosyncrasies. A story well told with a twist you won’t soon forget.
I was visiting and I wanted to read a book that was based in Savannah. Wow was I rewarded. A sweet thoughtful book.
Wow! I am impressed with this book! I thought it would be a while bunch of cheesing lines but it wasn’t. I could have done without all the hashtags at the end of most of the chapters, though. #itannoyedme
Jessica Almasy used to irritate me, but I realize now that she was better than I thought. Her voice for Aunt Peg was wonderful. This new narrator speaks too slowly and sounds bored with the story. Nearly every character speaks in the same voice. She mispronounces words–even the author’s name! I’m seriously considering returning the..
Good book ..has romance..mystery …and most of all Faith….great performance by Angie Hickman..her narrative made this book come alive..excellent!!!!
love the religious references, however additional research needed on military protocol. If you can get past the military portal mistakes this story is a page turner.
As far a the story go it’s quite a page turner. I also commend the author reference to the strong religious belief of the female military character. Many military members have a strong religious belief. It is understandable to have a personal guard for the targeted military character as caring weapons on base is usually..
I was a little leary at first, then while listening went out of cell coverage and decided to finish. in the end it was not close to my original thoughts. I’m hoping book 1 will work out to be the start of a fun series.
