The killers were a suprise. I was a little disappointed that they were not held responsible for their crimes.
It’s fantastic that Laurien stays away from the “typical, predictable, cheesy” themes that plague mass consumed mysteries nowadays! Her focus on responsible breeding through genetic testing, ring politics and inclusive families make these FAVORITE reads & listens. I always feel like I have an ally in this author.Another group placement for this Melanie Travis Mystery!
Sweet, Sexy and a little bit of Crazy. All on the bayou of Louisiana. Very cute story of a second chance romance with a HEA. There’s a few moments that Angie’s narrative was a bit monotone, but it was alright. Tanner was pretty sexy sounding;)
Cozy mysteries are usually an escape from the real world but this time the real world was the focus of the story. Same sex marriage and the Me Too movement played central roles in the story. It is just my preference that cozy mysteries focus on a good mystery and less on subject matter that..
I just love this family and how much love they all have for eachother. Who doesn’t love a second chance love story with a Cajun flair to it?? Owen is the sweet laid back Landry and he’s got a chance to get his first love Maddie, back when she comes back to the BayouThere’s only..
Another great story from Erin!! The narrators are AWFUL… The man talking like a Canadian with his “aboot”, no drawl and he sounds way too old to be a 30ish guy. The female is the opposite she sounds like Minnie Mouse and not mature enough to be 30ish. At first I was confused because she..
It was a fun story loved the crazy heated passion between the two main characters – overall I loved it!Did not like the Canadian accent on the narrator- just weird in a bayou settingThe other thing that bothered me was that one of the guys had a scar from “sharp scales” from a bull shark..
loved the story. honestly preferred the guy performing over the woman. she almost sounded like Google home or Siri speaking.
