This was a fun new cozy mystery. The characters seemed more real than some of the flat characters in other cozies. I also liked that things happened on a real timeline- main character is opening a new bookstore- and bc she’s busy dealing with a murder very little gets done- i can relate to that..

I recounted audible because I was missing this light hearted series but something happened between the books 1-4 and this one. The storyline became repetitive where I felt like I kept thinking how many times are they going to tell us the cat is ##### or she can see #####. And this narrator. Kill me..
I would give this book more stars were it not for the narration. The prior narrator I felt really nailed the various characters and the southern accents was done really well.
