I couldn’t even make it through the first chapter. I miss Tara Ochs! This narrator is awful.
Horrible Narrator
Review from If the Haunting Fits, Wear It →
Entertaining storyline while being uncomplicated enough for a mystery buffs to glide through without anxiety.
I loved the first four books in this collection – “Haunted Vintage Mystery”. Narrator Tara Ochs spoke clearly and gave each character so much personality. She is so gifted with accents and tone of voice. To my great disappointment, the fifth book had a new narrator, Angie Hickman, whom in my opinion had a nasal..
This is a cute story with entertaining characters and an interesting mystery that moves at a fast paced. I look forward to the next book in this series.
Although it’s an ok mystery, there was too much focus on the budding romance between the two lead characters. Angie Hickman did a good job bringing life to the characters.
This is a quick and entertaining cozy mystery. The characters and story are engaging and the pace of the story is quick. I enjoyed this book and look forward to the next one.
I almost stopped listening to this book several times. It took a long time for the murder to happen. There was too much attention toward Glady’s love interest. Spencer wants her/doesn’t want her but doesn’t want anyone else to have her. Every new guy in town instantly likes her. The very strange matchmaker that moves..
This is beyond silly and not much of a mystery. The plot goes round and round without anything being solved. I’m tires of every man falling for Galdy for no good reason.
Most of the women in this book act like 10-year-olds rather than adults. It’s insulting. Kept thinking it would get better but only got worse!
