Lazy Writing Full of Fluff

Seems like the author half assed the plot and just filled the story with fluff rather than much character developement. The corny unbelievableness of some of the characters sudden stupidity made me cringe.

Rubin knows the history and people from up close. The reader is awful. Where Rubin is witty and fun, the reader is pompous and tiresome. His mispronunciation is distracting.
