This book is an anthology of stories ranging from fairly good to very lackluster. Most of the stories albeit interesting are simply not scary 95% of the way through, only turning into a nail biter at the very end of the story, into which the story ends abruptly. Clever entertaining story. I like the historical details. The narrator is awful. He makes all the characters sound like prissy old men. The American accents are especially bad.
