I’ve read this book in my teens, and 20 years later it seems better than ever now that I’ve had my own Air Force career to reflect upon.
A truly excellent read

Your in the middle of a war with an enemy that killed many of your kind, with a fury of hatred. Then you just go full on power ranger mode with your enemy to kill a enemy that had less plot time than your side kick friends…. I feel like this book is the beginning..
wtf Audible.com? You force only 3 out of thousands of audio books to show up on my feed when I’m searching for “science fiction” selections? You are going to tell me there is a glitch in your amazon funded sell out platform? bull crap. stop railroading and force feeding us crap.
This story was really good!! Kept me hooked from beginning all through to the very end. It was far better and way more intriguing than most murder mystery, thrillers. And of know, at least for me, it’s because of the horror genre! Which Bentley Little is just genius at! As far as horror is concerned..
The concept is good. The plot is good. Much of the story is good. But the characters and writing seem very immature. Not as in YA, but like a new author who needs more time to hone their skills. There’s a lot of telling instead of showing. The characters act in extremely shallow and predictable..
I just started reading this Author, 4 books so far he is now my second favorite. He’s keeps me rt on the edge of my seat the whole book ,hard to stop listening.
I loved Pet Semetary. This book had a similar feel. It was hard to put down, and I finished it in just a couple of days. Creepy parts, with a growing sense of dread, it’s a great Halloween type read.
Amazing story from being shot down and surviving to all the other incredible things he accomplished. I found it entertaining.
Besides beinging given 20/10 eyesight, (he could identify planes other pilots could not see yet), Chuck Yeager worked fearlessly & flew constantly. His patience seemed infinate propelling him from the ranks of the non-commisioned to a general. fantastic book
