The print version of this book costs over $50 in paperback, even on Ebay, and is worth every penny. I had never paid that much for a paperback, but after listening to this audible versiom, read by a real pro, I bought both – and am not sorry.

When I first read this in paperback we had just scored a Walmart in our small farm community…it made me scared to shop there! This book is really crazy creepy and s really great audiobook listen. The narrator sounds Native American which gives it an even creepier mythical vibe.

I enjoyed the ending! It has me excited to see the evolution of characters to come. I couldn’t empathize with Claire, there is a point where players are doing videogame shenanigans and I think that character feels so out of control that she wants to kill the Ai even though nothing is wrong yet.
