I have often heard about what an incredible pilot Chuck Yeager was. Granted, this was written with a large degree of personal bias. However, my respect for him as a man has grown. Definitely a must listen.

the book started out very slowly, but then it picks up speed and doesn’t slow down. As with all Bentley Little books, nothing is explained but maybe thats part of the magic. The narrator isn’t that great, but on some of the more horror filled parts hes a perfect fit.
This part three of the main series, following Jason and his friends, is still great. But overall I feel this novel was too long. Less time could have been spent on endlessly detailed quests that didn’t always seem to add a lot to the story. Eliza and the hippy god unfortunately are pretty weak additions..
Some of the worst fantasy “novels” I’ve ever had the displeasure of putting a credit towards. The writing, plot, characters, world building, and story are so poorly written it comes across like a first draft from a high school student in a creative writing class. These books are so far below the bar for me..
