Travis Bagwell had managed to make LitRPG rather cool and relatable. The characters in these books feel real, they all have faults and are not one dimensional. Review from Awaken Online: Catharsis →

This is a great book. Like all litRPG, it’s not a complex story. While remaining pleasingly predictable overall, the journey is a great ride with a few unexpected mechanics. Parents guide: Solid YA. A little unnecessary language, lots of crazy gore, and nothing else untoward.

SPOT ON

Review from Trout Friends and Other Riff-Raff →

From a Wisconsin born and raised sportsman with 6 decades under my belt, I enjoyed each of these short stories. I smiled and I laughed, remembering similar experiences and fishing friends. Kudos also that I’ve fished many of the streams and locations Bill writes about. Like a pleasant walk down memory lane. Thank you Bill.

The armor the spells the word is truly an immersive one. I can’t wait for Travis bring all this epic story together. Even if he doesn’t there are so many characters and gods of this world I’ve met he doesn’t really have to.

I am more sucked in now

I read some reviews that claimed the story lagged. but i just didnt feel that way, I felt that the characters grew and we learned a lot about them. It was like a puzzle each chapter a piece so by the time your at the end your like ohh i see it now.
