the story abd performance are still great but there were several extra long moments in this edition. it felt like there was a little more fluff than usual.

A few comments have faulted this book over the ease in which a novice traveler was able to best so many other high level players and NPCs and that it isn’t a realistic MMO gaming experience. There’s no denying this but I don’t believe that was the intent of the author when he set out..
I’m always a little hesitant when an author starts another series in the same world, but this was well done. I’d even say that it’s as good as the first AO book.

Without a doubt, the worst book I have ever, ever read/listened to. The book defies all logic and there is no payoff. What an epic waste of time and I honestly wish I could unread this God awful book.
I’m so glad that Calvin wrote this book finally.I first heard of this story in 1993 and have always wondered “where are they now?”I had no idea he had other experiences.I am even more intrigued and want to visit him and talk about my sightings.
