great side story Riley got some great development. now hopefully next side quest will build team up just as good

Throughly enjoyed the story bring told to me by David Stifel. He brought the storyline to life through his voice. What pleasure I had with eyes closed listening to his voice bring it to life within my mind. What a great experience and being almost there within the story.

Disappointed if I’m honest… it had a lot of good ratings so I bought it – and once again I have wasted a credit coz I’m too lazy to read the poor reviews. The first three books were great – this one? Not so much – it is different and the author did tell you..

The main character is a teenage boy with self-confidence and responsibility issues. He spends nearly every moment lamenting his life and the unfair advantage of the wealthy, without realizing that the rich kids are mean to him because he’s a dweeb. No thanks. I just can’t get into a loser protagonist.

Great story. creepy, interesting. Easy to listen to narrator. I will definitely read more from Ronald Malfi.

Never quit a book after only 4 hours before. Where to start… the narration seems sarcastically done, which is understandable given the content. loved it! I’m a sucker for vr scifi, be it “ready player one” or “sword art online”. like i said, the narrator was god awful, sounding too much like a robot, which is fine when he is speaking on behalf of robots. which is very little. but the story was so good it totally makes..

One of my favorite LITRPGs to date easily top 5 listens. Being the villain has never been so good.

Perhaps it’s the repetitive nature if the titles to date, or the absolutely glacial progress of the AI subplot…I don’t know. I may have to wait until the series concludes (if it ever does) before coming back. This title was a slog for me.

Another great book by the brilliant Travis Bagwell. Start with book 1 (Catharsis.) It’s especially good if you have enjoyed playing WoW, like me (Spinnaker on Uther/Runetotem.)
