The story was amazing. The book had solid characters and it was truly creepy. I’ll be reading more books by this author.
the story starts off strong , with good character development and immediately tells you the stakes that are involved which helps with the tension. the tension and sense of dread continues throughout most of the story. the ending was a little abrupt and anti-climactic. it seemed to just end with a lot of Side Stories..
Michael has done a better job of explaining whay happened and why it happened than any prior lexicon or historical series I’ve had pleasure to experience. His economic perspectives and inferences make the subject relevant to today’s economies as well.
The good news, there’s enough of the story there that I’ll get the next one. That being said, the bad: the relationship between Jason and Riley, the whole back and forth, is so cliche, so over used, it defies logic that anyone would play it out again, like they used to do ad nauseum, it’s..
If you’re interested in communism or the USSR, this is a fantastic book worth reading. The narrator does an excellent job.
Im an immigrant so never knew American history indepth from my school we had a broad general understanding for it and our general knowledge was high, in last 10 years the Rev. War period and its individual players have intrigued me. As my FBI agent at naturalization said in 96 most Americans today wont know..
Great insight in the extraordinary life of the best pilot that ever flew but throughout his life he remained a humble man and a devoted husband
the story was hard to make it through this time, the author admitted in the prologue that he sticks at flirting and it is evident by how terrible the dialog and interpersonal relationships are between the male and female characters, but the story itself is the truly infuriating part especially chapter 65, won’t spoil anything..
This is a good book to pick up and listen if you’re wanting to get into networking. Though it’s mostly geared towards Windows, the author does cover, and simplify some fundamental networking topics. The narrators voice, the chapter titles, and the joke references keeps you engaged and entertained. It’s a great refresher.
