Quite simply, the book was very boring and the plot, while technically plausible, was quite far fetched. Getting through all 20 hours was a chore.

Interesting, but written like a documentary. And narrated like a documentary. I think it is more truth and not a lot of description, dialogue or interest stories inside of it. The dog was the best character.

What a crazy story. I really enjoyed listening to this book. It was well written and the narrator was pleasant. Highly recommend.

An archaeological adventure that starts off with Alex being scared of leaving her home but leads to a wild adventure to Africa. She and her friend, Sam, weave back and forth from past to present while working through several twists and turns.

I worked with the author in the ER many years ago, and I’m thrilled to see he is still writing. The chapter called “the gun show” ripped my heart out. So tough to read, but I think it should be mandatory reading for anyone who wants to own a gun. Thanks Dr Huyler !

Definitely another unique and fun LitRPG book. Can’t wait to see the next book in the series.
