It took until I was about half way for the book to really draw me in. After that I was very invested in Charlie’s story. I love the combination of sci-fi and fantasy. However, the pacing too fast in some areas and too slow in others.
I just love a good romance with heart, and Didn’t Expect You has it in spades. Nathaniel and Nyx are a couple that just connects, and this slow-burn multi-cast audio was a real treat to listen to. I liked the stories in this collection. All 3 books were sexy and hot. The narrators were all excellent!

For some reason the narrator whisper talks through the whole book with little to no emotion or inflection. Even with scenes where the crew is crashing and trying to save the ship the narrator speaks in a whispery super calm tone.
It expresses the urgency and the hope of we work together. Must read and must act after reading

the love scene are lackluster and the relationship not really flushed out. it’s would be better if they focused more on the story or the love. Because they can’t do both. like I said before it’s all just kinda good no part was great or would make me come back for another read.
