the characters are entertaining throughout the entirety of the story, however many of the situations throughout the storyline are left without complete details or two glazed over. as well as I find it disappointing that both Aura and Charlie would have left their allies to such Slaughter and abandonment at the end of the tale,..

the entire story seemed like it was written really fast. extremely boring at times and honestly the fact the he didn’t realize it was magic pissed me off.
wonderful world building! most of the characters are fun, all are interesting… the stories and narration are of varying quality, but they are never bad… if you enjoy the universe, you will enjoy this book… if you just want the overpowered main character, this might not be for you…

The story surprised me and held my attention far better than I expected. The narrator did a great job with differentiating the characters and keeping good pace while maintaining clarity. The story itself was transparent at points, but had a fairly strong narrative throughout.

Well worth the credit. A great series with this being number 3. Looking for number 4 now. Charlie has had a very interesting life. Somewhat like Arthur Dent and his travels but with a very updated spin. An excellent book in the series.
