Despite pacing issues, it is an intriguing start to a series. I was pleased with the narration as well.

I’m quite interested in what will happen next in this series. Sounds like many more adventures await Charlie.

I enjoyed this book and the world building. It took some time for me to get into this book, but I truly enjoyed the story once I got hooked.

Okay so this series is so amazing I don’t know where to begin. I loved EVERYTHING about this story. I have read the series and wanted a couple of them on audible. I am a huge fan and loved the books and the audible books as well!!

I read a few negative reviews and almost didn’t get this book. But it was exactly the kind of story I like. I like it when magical talented individuals lives in my world. Someone complained about the narrator but the style to me was perfect – I can imagine Ozzy speaking in a weary tone..
