Failed mission, failed mission… minor success…failed mission. There, you’ve now read the book. Please don’t spend your money.
The reason you get 3 books for the price of one is because the books progressively become worse and worse and by the time you get to books 4-6 it basically turns into a chick flick instead of special ops thriller. The Author is clearly not military. One example: Military guys are going to raid..
There are so many ridiculous moves by our so called hero, I don’t know where to start. How about something simple like the world spymaster asking a British spy: “What’s the Chunnel?” I think my six grader knows that. How about spymaster watches bad guy escape his grasp via mode of transportation…But 12 hours later…when..
I really enjoyed this book. If we all read this book, maybe the future could look something like this.
I love this story. I’ve relistened to it so many times. A wonderful start to one of my favorite series.
It was okay. Not enough building of the characters but it has potential. The virus/zombie aspect was very light and the story focused more on the budding friend/ship turned relationship well lack thereof.
Same old ZA with routine storyline but very likable characters. Reader is a bit of a monotone. No gratuitous sex but lots of violence.
The Sivan books were amazing, I couldn’t wait to listen to these …ugh..what happened..it’s almost like the author had a mental breakdown. completely ruined felenar and his whole glorious story. She should have ended with the sylvan books and left felenar there.
Some newer, different aspects of warewolf shifter life intertwined into this book. I was a little disappointed that I figured out the ending by the first third.
