If you like true crime and courtroom drama, you will love this book. I have probably listened to more than 100 true crime stories, and this may be my all-time favorite.

This is an amazing story, with a great narrator. So exiting, it was impossible to stop listening.

I loved it. easy listening. ties together all the shows n podcasts n dateline very well.
The use of multiple voice actors made it easier to follow the plot. The author wrote short chapters from different perspectives. Being able to recognize by accent who was the focus of the chapter made it simple to track which of the plot lines were being advanced.
This book was a little cheesy. If you like shifters, it might fit the bill. I prefer a little more pizazz. It kinda fell flat when it could’ve gone in a better direction. I had a hard time with the voice of the Fmc and her physical disposition. It was hard for me to believe..

The war saga takes a handful of turns. It continues the story. It isn’t stand-alone with a beginning and an end of its own, and that lack of being wholly encapsulated seems to detract from how it might be rated; but, it serves up a 7-course meal as food for thought. What if this happened?..
Terrific story! Thoroughly enjoyed it. Interesting characters, multiple plot twists, fast-paced action. John Grisham meets Mario Puzo. The only question I have after listening to this book is who will play Tom Berte in the movie.
