I like the way these books tie into each other in this series. would recommend this series to everyone.
Great storyline with good relatable characters that I hope continue on their next book. It was a very enjoyable read.
Awesome book. I’m diggin’ it. Read Beachhead too. As good as Red Storm Rising by Tom Clancy and Larry Bond. Timely. Does look a couple years over the horizon, but keeps the speculative stuff … drones and AI … very plausible.
The plot was there but SO over shadowed by the characters inter dialogue /self reflection. Every time a character said ONE sentence there was at least 5-10 minutes of inter dialogue before anyone else said a sentence. Every scene maybe only had three sentence ever completed making the characters not actually even really interact with..
I loved everything about the book, The storyline, the pace, some humor, romance, zombies. Hands down one of the best books I’ve listened to. Looking forward to listening the the next book.
Excellent series, very well informed and highly creative. Very knowledgeable of the tech disparity gap narrowing and even inverting
Great story (and some what believable) account of a possible China invasion of Taiwan. The series brings back Lt Karen ‘Bunny’ O’Hare (USAFR) as the main character. I do recommend listening to Holden’s ‘Future of War’ series first (sadly, only books 1 – 3 are available on Audible), as Bunny’s character is introduced and defined…
Not much appealing. Author clumsily starts in the middle of the story and it’s just more hack’nslash with minimal character building from there.
