Learned a lot about what can be done to reverse global warming and how all the nations of the world can work together to effect change. It left me hopeful about the future in the end.

What a great post apocalyptic, story. Completely different from any others I have read. can’t wait for the rest of the series!

I enjoyed the complexity of the story. Bouncing all over. Don’t mind the reviewer talking about ‘woke’. They probably couldn’t even define what it means. Honestly an enjoyable series!

I couldn’t stop listening! Best listen so far. Captivating, saddening, and electrifying. It gives me hope that the justice system can get it right sometimes. They had to be wrong before they were right but they got there. Mostly due to Joel Schwartz dedication to finding the truth. 10/10 highly recommend.

This is a beautifully thought out exploration of how humanity could save itself from the worst ravages of global warming. Like so much of Stanley’s work, however, it is not exactly a page turner. He could have tied the novel up significantly quicker than he chose to.

This story touched my soul. It painted a picture of every ugly and wonderful detail of humanity, while perfectly balancing realism with optimism. I hope more people can read this, and feel the soft yet powerful hope of Kim Stanley Robinson as we face the future.

This book is more about approaching magick with the right (according to the author) frame of mind,than anything practical like the title implies.
