Great story with excellent writing and a happy ending. I totally enjoyed this book.I can’t wait for a book two.
I feel like the author may have stepped outside the realm of reality too many times. There is only so much implausibility that can be accepted by a reader. Over all, it was not a bad listen. I just feel like a considerable number of the scenes could have been rewritten to be more realistic..
Languid at times contrasting c the desperate urgency of the subject. I have mixed feelings about exposing my children and grandchildren to this but maybe I should.
Love the story. But I feel the voices are miss matched for me. Vince’s voice should’ve been Devin’s.
Too unbelievable for me. Cliffhanger situations were like the 1960’s Batman TV show with Adam West. Bennett’s narration is spot-on. Adrian Hell could be a great character if the situations were more believable.
Imagine taking an interesting subject such as climate crisis and indulging in the most boring human parts for realism. This book reads like a bad diary of the most boring people. Did not finish this snooze fest.
To be honest, I’m very easily pleased with audio books. I rarely come across anything I feel wasn’t at least mildly enjoyable…I did not like this one.
Boring narration. The other characters voiced were good, but the main character who does most of the talking was almost monotone. Puts one to sleep.
A story that delves into the realm of climate change and its impact on our future. It puts forth a range of scenarios that are likely to come up in the near future, some that seem rather inevitable right now. The book also presents a detailed exploration of potential solutions and policies that could address..
