Quite a few words used incorrectly. such is exasperate when they met exacerbate. Either an autocorrect error, or simple ignorance on the part of the author. Still, it takes a rather bland story, and moves it into “high school homework” territory. Skip this one.

If you liked the last couple books you’ll like this one too. My only complaint is that there is a male side character in the last hour of the book who’s voice is sooo quiet that it is almost impossible to hear and clearly an editing error.

Wow. This was notably better than the first book, and I really enjoyed the first one. The Gray family and Elise have powered up and gained strange new classes. I’m very excited to see what happens when Elise and Sophia attend the university.
It’s a fun read. It’s quickly paced but could use some additional exposition. I found myself wondering about more details of the classes, tower, etc. The performance is top notch with a cast unparalleled. I can’t wait for the next installment.

Honestly I loved this book. It just keeps getting better. I love the politics and the intrigue. Things get paid off and more get set up. Character development feels good and earned. The Characters/Party was more captivating than in the first, and I just want more. Give me book 3.

If I told you all the great things in this story you’d have no reason to listen. It’s well written, engaging, and fun. And then there’s JTJ and the whole team at SoundBooth Theater! Holy mackerel! Another stellar performance.Well done… now… where’s book four? I’ve gotta know what happens next.
