I don’t know if it started out that way, but it works a as a nod to the late great Chuck Norris jokes. I’m not saying its a tribute to Norris, just the jokes.
Smart and funny

LITRPG out there! Hell yeah I said it! So much intelligence and creativity went into crafting this awesome story. SBTL are top tier even though the production was off at first and I understood at least half of what Vex said – LOL. Will definitely re-read.
It’s a fun story with endearing characters. The puns can be a bit bone dry but they aren’t over used in my opinion. It’s got fun references to D&D in a cultivation fantasy setting.
Story is very hard to pay attention to with the major differences in narrative quality. The main narrator is much too close to the microphone, and pauses too long between sentences – lacking the fluency and flow of the other cast. It feels like an ASMR Podcast with SBT as guests…I can’t finish the book it’s..
this book ended on Erin’s state of mind being unknown and wither or not the connection to the hive mind was severed or not is also unknown. fuck this
This is a really really good book. It’s better than the first. I think I’m going to start listening to the third excellent narration great job guys oh yeah platypus
nothing happens. Just repetitive. Its just the same thing over and over again. Just new powers. the characters feel really flat. not worth a download.
I’ve heard other work with Dory, and she does an amazing job. The variation of the other characters really brings this story to life as well. Truly an amazing work. Looking forward to book 3!
