More, more, more!! So good, I just want the whole series out. Each book reveals more about Finch’s past while keeping the reader/listener interested in the current adventure. I can’t wait for the next one and all Shami has to offer!
There are far too many chapters given to backstory and split POV. I have zero interest in what feels like half the book being tangents from the central plot of Crystal Genocide–I wanted more of the main character and her plot and less of all that other junk with Alice, Marsha, and others. It was..
about 5 chapters is what it takes for you to become invested. It’s a solid read and not filled with anything to tropey except the hero’s and villians stuff it picks fun of. I give this book a must read for fans of gradual progression.
My only issue is the romance, a bit too much time enforcing the couples love upon me… I get it, she’s a good woman, move on to the Crafting, fighting and world issues, excellent performance from the audio team.
Couldn’t bring myself to care about the main character or the plot. Gave up halfway through the second book.
Phenomenal performance by everyone! Got a great many laughs from Ashe and rock super good stuff! I hope we can get the second book on audible.
The first half of the book had potential, though why they chose a small child’s voice for a supposedly 18 year old I don’t know. Likely won’t continue the series
this could have been a 5 times better story without the annoying soul weapon that actually ruins almost every scene
the first book great, everything about the first book was good but in the second book theres a weird romance thing between three people with sucks
