this is another fantastic book written by Shamt Stovall. I love this series and all the characters in it, they’re such a great group of misfits! I can’t wait till the next book 🙂 I’m looking forward to seeing how breeze Powers evolve and how things go with Cole and Adare.
Amazing use of voice actors and very entertaining characters. Well worth the credit, can’t wait for the next book.
Idk why the author wants the mc to be yelled at by a lazy fairy that won’t do her job every chapter but I’m just tired of it. Her scenes just ruin the rest of the book.
There is no weight to anything in the story because people can die and respawn with really no setback. This colors every interaction and removes any suspense. The dialogue feels unnatural in timing and phrasing. It is hard to explain, but I’d imagine it’d be similar to listening 12 year old boys play D&D. I..

The voice cast does an awesome job and tries their best with a story that is honestly just a chore to get through.
The writing, pacing, narration, and even the audio mix are uniquely bad. Getting flashbanged by a high pitched squeal every 15 seconds made this a truly difficult listen.
