if you are looking for the same magic that made the first book special you can stop now. You won’t find it here. This book is mostly inner dialogue and descriptions of rooms and things that contribute absolutely nothing to the story. There is one flight scene that felt like 2 minutes of bad puns…
The concept is really interesting, I really like the voices and the style – but the narration is clearly stuck going nearly nowhere. The second book already suffered from this and it is even worse in this one. Fun, but they are milking the concept too hard to stretch it.

Writing action and story are solid but romance or authors attempt at it needs serious work.
more Limpet, more Harold and even more chaos. a wonderful addition to this growing universe and even more insight into a different way of thinking, even if a bit skeletal. loved every second of this story and can’t recommend the series enough

The story diverged from the original idea of going back to sleep. now this is just like the potato chips bag you pick at the gas station to calm you hunger until you get a proper meal(a proper audiobook). of course Soundbooth is what give some value to this book.
