I gave it my best, I swear! It was just… Boring! There was more vampire history lessons than action and more plan ING than actually doing!The romance was so slow-burn that the flame died out for me, I just couldnt care less about plot nor characters.Not gonna continue with the rest of the trilogy

Didn’t connect on any level: tone, pace, subject matter, interactions, PoV … it’s meant for someone else who can magnify flaws with interest in the story. Like teenage girls did with Twilight.
