Wow.. wow. wow.. this exciting four book series is growing – and building – and brewing ready to explode in its climactic end later on in the year. Meanwhile the perfection continues with Donatella’s story and she’s definitely her mother’s daughter.. she’s cold, ruthless and very ambitious.. but the top spot in the Callahan/Giovanni Mafia..

Heart gripping tale of loss and love
Review from Absolution →
I love how seamlessly Sloane Kennedy weaves together her stories of characters struggling with personal demons to accept unexpectedly found love. In this story, three characters struggle with the loss of innocence and an unconventional love, by society’s standards. You will find yourself crying as these characters deal with the hurts that have built walls..
This is an entertaining spin-off series from the absolutely spellbinding Ruthless People Mafia series and, although I didn’t enjoy this book quite as much as its predecessors, it was everything I’d hoped it would be.. even if it did have more or a melancholy feel rather than a humorous one. Nearly two decades have passed..
Soooo good!

The duel narration in this book was completely spot on! I love when an author knows the voice of their characters and can match it with narrators. Joel and Philip were absolutely perfect! I totally binge listened to this book. Stupid work got in the way but I finished and am already planning a re-listen…
Last we saw Spencer and Andrew, they were ensconced in Emilio and Daniela’s tattoo shop with the couple as well as Gabe and Spencer’s best friend Lola. At the end of the first book, Andrew said to Spencer’s crew, “he gets me like no one ever has…I’m hoping he would like to get to know..
Not for me.

I can’t really give a fair review of this book because I just couldn’t stomach the repeated comments about the physical attraction the main character felt for other men. I’m trying my best to be open minded, but I kept getting the feeling that homosexuality was more important to the author than an actual story..
So Great
