I can and have listened to this book over and over again. I would recommend the whole series to anyone looking for an excellently written gay love story.

I liked the mix of adventure and romance, but the story line was lacking in romance, it depicted a very stoic and tasteful love affair between two men. The story line did keep you guessing & was interesting but bores me in the end with a predictable happy ending.

I keep wishing this would turn into a movie trilogy. This is my second time through the books and I still really enjoy it. Modern Peaky Blinders world wide! Joel is also the best narrator of the series. Fingers crossed he records bloody kingdom too!

YES, every bit as good as everyone says. I’m glad I saved it for when I needed a pick-me-up, and it is definitely going on my re-read shelf! I did the audio version and Femme was absolutely perfect for Joel Leslie.
As always Andrew Grey delivers a well developed plot full of engaging characters. The story line includes: an instant attraction between Jonah and Luka, enough background on the two MC’s to make the characters plausible, Jonah getting to know his deceased uncle, a town consisting of some not so nice people, a quirky best friend..
