Lovely, lovely new discovery. I love period mysteries and this one caught me by surprise. The gentle storytelling, the defined characters and the reader is incredible. Besides being a wonderful story, Joel’s narrative made it come alive. He is the best.
I went into this read expecting something crazy, and that’s exactly what I got. A ridiculous romp, but I was entertained. I picked this up because one of my new favorite narrators, Joel Leslie, performed part of this story. While the other narrators didn’t quite work for me, Joel’s performance was excellent.

Fantastic book, Joel really brings it to life with the cast of characters he has in his head .I love the idea of a virus bring the cause.
