I understand why the ending happened knowing that there’s another series after this. However, the first book took until almost the last quarter to really get into the story and then it all had so much potential. The last few chapters of this book let the entire story down regardless of the next series. It..
Loved the world building and relationship that was developed. Also loved meeting all the side characters friends and family. Very much enjoyed this story and can’t wait to read more from this author

Alice Winters writes the funniest stuff! I like this series already. The characters are very likable and the story would make quite an entertaining TV series. I’m not crazy about Lane’s voice, seems a lot older than he is, but I got used to it since the story is soooo good and performed soooo well…
