First off I am a huge fan of Joel Leslie. He does a superb job, as always. I’ve never read/listened to this author but she does a great job. The story line is complex and entreaguing. I’m looking forward to book 2.

Characters and motives were relatable with an enjoyable plot. A good work of gay fiction, I definitely recommend.

What did you like best about Ruthless People? What did you like least? As the bloody body count mounted it became more and more clear the reader was not expected to take the deaths seriously, which minimizes about 80% of the story, the remainder was x rated harlequin romance/sex. I have always passed over this book because it was a vampire story. However when I discovered it just came out in audio form with Joel Leslie performing, I couldn’t pass it up. He does such a great job with all the voices and it just made the story for me. Can’t wait for more!!

I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher. I was expecting this book to be quite different. I couldn’t make it very far into it, but what I did manage to listen to was slow and boring.

If you like the philosophical concept of being in charge of your own life is interesting to see the character evolution, you know is a great story when it holds up without sexual parts and it does.

Nice storie on vampires , good adventure, nicer characters.A bit long , but a great listen.
