I love the characters, and their stories. How the things that make them different is also their strengths. it’s fun how they gell together so wel. this is so farmyard favorite series from L.G. Estrella since Unconventional Heroes was myprevious favorite.
A fitting conclusion to this series. It’s been a romp, to follow Sam and friends across landscapes of personal discovery, dangerous missions, loss and love. The author injects plenty of spice, action, and humor along the way. Joel Leslie’s performance is a tour de force.
I really enjoyed the story line and character development. It is a fun listen and very amusing. I highly recommend.

There were some lighthearted moments, but some very dark ones as well. This story deals heavily with past domestic abuse and trauma which was hard to read at times. I loved Cal and Oscar especially Cal’s treatment of Oscar. The growth Oscar showed was exceptional.
