I really liked the story, but it took a long time for the plot to kick in. Once it did, it was awesome. I think I prefer John Solo’s narration, but after I got used to Joel Leslie it was ok. Tal Bauer is such an amazing author so feel every tense moment.
Trauma survival. Nuf said. This hit me in so many feels! Can’t wait to get back to this universe for more!

Lily Mayne is one of my favorites. So is Joel Leslie so this is the perfect combination. It’s a really long book but I enjoyed hearing the final chapter of their lives as Kings.

The narration was both incredible and hilarious, making it one of my favorite audiobooks! The story is so compelling and in depth that it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. 10/10 highly recommend
