This story ultimately had a lot of potential due to the interesting concept, however fell flat because of 1. Unlikable main characters, 2. Weak writing 3. Poor editing (half the sentences repeat themselves in slightly different ways) 4. Annoying male character voices to the point of distracting….i suspect that most of these issues could be..
I absolutely love the way the view of how body dismorphia impacts a relationship and how, even from a long time ago, rejection can turn into deep commitment issues. the slow and gentle way its addressed only makes it that much more amazing. Fantastic job!

I liked the story but I could hardly listen to the narrator. His female voices were awful and the male voices weren’t much better. I’ll make sure that I don’t get a book in the future with him narrating.
This loving group of otherworldly friends finding their matches while working to save the world was just what I needed and didn’t know. I loved this unique world building and the plot was a fun ride. Some abrupt changes in story felt slightly jarring but otherwise it was fantastic. And as always Joel Leslie does..

I love the whole storyline ! Had me choked up several times. Very tastefully done. All of the main characters were pretty well thought out. Needs to be followed up with the kids as adults.
I found it hard to listen to with all of the anti-religion throughout this series.

I’m not sure how a book can be written with such dark back stories while being so funny I dang near pee myself! But here we are! I hope this series keeps on coming. This was phenomenal!
