Super original story, so unexpected and exciting. Great audio performances too. Excited for the next one
I have been waiting on my toes for this second book, re-reading the first several times over and going so far as to mark the release date in my calendar! I love Allies pacing in her writing, keeping the perfect balance of tension, action and comedy. The world of Evan and Reece is truly unique..
A great read with interconnecting story lines and lots of love. The one thing missing is that book 1 seemed to have a prestory, perhaps from another series. Overall, it was a great read worth the time.
The story progressed rather slow, the narration was ok but the voices lacked differentiation. While hot for one voice the sultry whispered narration for everything got old after a few hours. The story is good enough that I’m not going to ask for my credit back, but probably not good enough to continue the series..
I adore this series and I’m so glad to see it come to audio and done by one of the best narrators in my opinion! Definitely worth a credit
Alexis Hall is an amazing craftsperson, able to imbue their characters with depth, grace, vulnerability and realness. The entire series was expertly written with much passion and intelligence. Hall often stuns with the seemingly endless well of their skill, their humour and their attention to detail. But, frankly, the subject matter of pain/pleasure through punishment..
I loved all these characters from the first book, but now I’m OBSESSED with them. Cannot wait for book three
I went into Sparktopia not knowing what to expect, but I ended up really loving it—especially the characters. My only issue was with the pacing and how quickly everything wrapped up at the end. It wasn’t until I listened to the end-of-book summary (EOBS) that I realized this is the first in a new series…
