Wonderful plot & character development. The story kept an engaging pace with a lot of world building without exaggerating to the point of redundancy and boredom. I love duet narration and while one of the male narrator’s voice kinda made my eye twitch, I could get past it since he wasn’t reading the whole time.
I enjoyed this slow-burn romance with humour, banter, friends to lovers and found family. Frankie’s a widower whose husband was his business partner Con’s best friend. So it’s understandable that when he finally realizes (3 years after his husband’s death) he has feelings for Con, he’s reluctant to act on them, especially since Con now..
It was really hard to listen to this book. I love the story and I’m invested in the series, but this was not the best narrator for this book.

Terrible. Who’s giving all these 5 star ratings??? Two of the narrator drove me nuts I had to keep skipping their chapter. Story was boring. wasted a credit.
