This story was a rollercoaster of emotions for me as it hits so many close to home feelings. Acceptance of who they are getting through grief and opening up. This book is a must read for young queer adults.

I regretted this book shortly after starting it. Hall simply sets ups scenarios to humiliate Arden. Joel Leslie is nearly unleashed to sound nearly hysterical at times, the actor playing an actor portraying a narrator. Ugh.

Loved this book! Very fun little magic world, good pov character, fun little fox, sexy cowboy ghost! Love! Normally can’t get through books narrated by Joel Leslie, but his performance in this was decent.
