Good idea, poor execution

Review from A Betrayal of Storms →

Idea had potential, but genuinely terrible writing. Other reviews echo this (wish I’d read them and saved myself some time) but the writer does not understand the concept of “show don’t tell”. What a poor excuse

Review from Unscripted Love →

This had to be written by a poor soul. The two men could have been a great love story, but the weak boy man writer is a sad person overall. I can tell you the Dr in the story was a saint or pathological narcissist!!

Not a thriller

Review from The Thriller Boxset →

I was expecting a mystery thriller and instead it was a cheesy romance. Although there were some good moments, the first book was drawn out and boring. The second started out better, then devolved into a bad romance novel. I stopped listening a few chapters into it.

The perfect warm fuzzy romance

Review from Finders Keepers →

Adorable characters, soft and sweet love story, low-drama conflict with quick resolution, and a delicious narrator, especially in those scenes. Lots of laughs too – though that could have been because I listened while engaged in the hobby Bernice and I share 😇 I’ll be checking out this author’s other titles!

Exceptionally good listen

Review from You Should Be So Lucky →

Great dialogue. Author was able to capture each character and their relationships through restrained but always significant dialogue. The reader emphasized this with perfect character accents. Aldo appreciated that the intimate scenes were mainly left to the imagination and not graphically detailed like so many MM books.

Repeat

Review from The Sunny Side →

If you’ve read Lily Mortons Deal Maker then you’ve already read this book. It’s the same plot and with the same narrator the characters are identical
