This is a great mystery story. The plot is complex, the MCs and the side characters are well written, and it feels like a dark noir. It has a slow burn element BUT it is NOT really a romance. Highly recommend if you want mystery and not romance. It is very different from the Dead..

I really enjoyed this book, but the man that voiced Oscar’s chapters… I wasn’t a fan. He quite often took me out of the story and made me wince.

I really like how this one had older characters that we never see. The story was so good and really spicy i enjoyed it so much.

She did it again!!! There wasn’t a character that she wrote that I wasn’t enthralled with… and I hope this series continues!!!

Sheena Jolie /Himes is an excellent writer. The entire series is well-plotted, filled with action, and with vivid characters.
