Great combo: Cat Sebastian and Joel Leslie. Historical settings that ring true. This one is more wordy and repetitive than usual.

I have loved everything I’ve read or heard by this author and the audio books are well done in every way. Completely worth the time if you like to laugh and enjoy the fanciful imaginative worlds out there.

It’s a shame because there’s some potential in the characters and concepts but there’s way too much exposition here and it slows the story waaaaay down. If 1/2 the words could be edited out, you’d have something. I got annoyed and had to stop listening.

Love the direction of the third entrance, excited to see where the series winds up. Looking forward to getting through the authors backlog, just bought the two necromancers series

Loved this take on the Alice in Wonderland. There were quite a few connections to the original story but with a great spin on the story. And was fabulously performed by Joel. His different voices and accents were great for the story.

This is a really good and very interesting series. It is compelling and intriguing. Characters are good with lots of complexity and tension. I enjoyed the world and the magic and would definitely recommend this series. It is very intelligently written and draws you in emotionally and intellectually. You won’t be disappointed!
