This was amazing!

Good mystery, likable MC. Didn’t listen to the first two books but it worked well as a standalone. Looking forward to reading more from this author.
I will say that it took me a bit to get into the story…Logan issues and is impending doom wasn’t making any sense. But once the legend came out and all the craziness behind it, I was ALL IN. With the help of Joel Leslie…this was highly entertaining. His narration never misses and I totally..
Likable characters face surprising challenges in an interesting world. The villains are bizarre and the heroes unlikely and the series has a lot of room to grow and continue. The stories have satisfying conclusions with enough loose ends to encourage the reader/listener to continue.
..:and meaningfully entertaining that I could not stop listening. What a great tale of self discovery and character development. Also, how great is Joel Leslie as narrator? My gawd. He can make any book sound fantastic.
just a quick review: a true happily ever after when you only expect to get a “good enough” ending. loved it.
The love story is a good one it shows age is only a number and not what’s inside a person I truly hate when they make you write more BS
Too much repetition in this one. Some of the story lines weren’t as well written as the past books. Lonans ultimate meeting with his mother went as expected. There were plenty of chances for a FU but easy as pie. And Ashes apparent problems becoming ruler weren’t so believable either. Just expected more from such..
I loved the relationships between the characters, the mystery, the humor and of course, Joel Leslie brings it all to life brilliantly. Excited for the rest!
DNF. I’ve read this book before and it’s one of my favourite in the college /new adult catagory. I was looking forward to listening to this because I love Kurt Graves, but I’m afraid I find Joel Leslie impossible to listen to. My advice is, read the Kindle version. Ditch the audio.
