I recognize Joel Leslie’s narration from the spin-off of the Big Bad Wolf serie by Charlie Adhara, Pack of Lies. I’m glad he is getting a whole serie to narrate. His theatrical style of narration really shines here with the humour, the witty banter. The writing, the story…just WOW. Actually, let me listen to this..
3.5 stars This was okay. I always have fun in this universe because of all the shenanigans with our ensemble cast of characters. I was definitely entertained and found myself chuckling, but this was a bit of a letdown from book one. Dustin and Rob are great characters, and they end up having great communication,..
Adored this book when I read it years ago and revisiting it in audio was glorious! The narrators were great.
I’ve read enough of these types of books to where the story and plot are similar enough that they all start to sort of run together. This one was just different enough to be surprisingly refreshing and entertaining. The narration by Joe Leslie wasn’t the best, but it wasn’t the worst. I particularly enjoyed the..
Bubba (with terrible, robotic acting): “oh no. Look at that giant, angry gowrow.” I think I just might like this spin-off better than the original Bubba The Monster Hunter by John Hartness. That series started out great, with redneck and juvenile jokes dialed to the max, but lost me as it relied too much on..
An unpainful first time, reasonable and rational couple that always respected one another and grow to love one another. Wholesome lovely and sweet. Just the kind of romance I enjoy. I imagine we will depart from this for the next but I greatly appreciated this one and love their story.
I really did not enjoy this book so put this book in a category. Of psychological thrillers or thrillers in general is like false advertisement. I don’t typically like to leave just all negative review, but there’s really nothing good about this book.
This duo had me laughing out loud from the first seconds of the book. Chevy is a saint for putting up with Seneca’s unhinged behavior especially the ranch and salad part. Joel LESILE did both these characters and the side characters great justices. Cheers to Alice Winters for this masterpiece.
