It’s not a bad story. Not really my jam, but the book itself and the characters are well written. All in all, it’s an entertaining, low stakes, pallet cleaning afternoon listen. One of Joel Leslie’s better narrations imo, and I’m not a Joel Leslie fan, so that’s saying something. Anyway, this book isn’t gonna change..

Just love Joel Lesley!!!

I loved the characters and the author’s take on the demon lore. It’s also good if there is a broken little piece in you that sighs at the depiction of a person loving another through trauma. I am a die-hard Joel Leslie fan and purchased this book on the premise and narrator alone and that..
Fun!

It’s often difficult to follow up the first in a series with a story that’s equally as good but Alice Winters does so. All the elements from the first book can be found here but in a different way. I highly recommend reading/listening to them in order. I’ve listened to these books multiple times mainly..
Excellent Read!
