Funny story , I laughed out loud at times but I prefer my books with more depth. It’s still a good listen and the narrator is great!!

This is a short story yet the build up to the the ending didn’t seem overly rushed like many short stories. I love Joel Leslie as a narrator. He brings the right tone to the right mood in any book he reads.

I’ve listened to about 60 audible books in the same genre and NEVER reviewed one. This book was so touching and funny. The addition of Billy gave so much to the story and the epilogue left my balling in my car. The book was perfect.

This story was very well done! The characters took a bit of time to get together but once they did…it was magical! Wonderful narration of a great story!

Really enjoyed this Walker/ Leslie combo ( my favorite combo) and this was a lot of fun. Looking forward to the next volume, which I start tomorrow. lol. Not my favorite Walker novel, not as heart-tugging as her usual fare, but still damn good. And, as always, well written. Expertly narrated.

This was just two guys constantly thinking about how fit the other was and flirting was every middle school quip the author could think of it seemed to me. No connection, no chemistry. Silly and halfway through it became apparent it would just meander on through immaturity to some kind of supposed HEA and I..

When I chose to review this book, the first reason was the narrator. I absolutely love Joel Leslie as a narrator. The second reason is that I have yet to read or listen to a Lily Morton book I didn’t like. I have to say, this one might be one of the best ones yet…
